We offer well woman gynecology care for low risk ladies.This appointment  includes a complete and comprehensive health history and physical, basic lab screening such as a hemoglobin check, cholestorol check, and a routine PAP smear wwwquestdiagnostics.com/kbase/topic/medtest/hw5266/descrip.htm

This is a good appointment to schedule if you are planning on becoming pregnant. We cover issues such as ovulation cycles (best times to get pregnant), www.cyclebeads.com natural family planning (how to NOT get pregnant), herbal counselling, and menopause. This appointment is generally about 2 hours, as we have several topics to cover in detail.  We now offer prescription birth control methods, insertion of IUDs, FemCaps, as well as cervical caps.

We also perform a First Cycle class for teen girls just getting their menses to learn about their period. This session includes a menses chart and instruction, a set of reusable cloth (washable) sanitary napkins, a Cycle Bead bracelet, and a book on menstruation for young girls.
