Birth Center Care....

Thank you for your interest in our Birth Center! Heart 2 Heart Birth Center was created with your needs in mind specifically. Although I am a midwife, I had babies too! My first was born in a birth center much like this one (victorian, feminine). Although I loved my experience, I have tried to incorporate some things that I felt would have made me feel a little more "special" (or even just more prepared) during my pregnancy. So, we asked our mom's what we could do to make their birth experience incredible, and what we came up with was more classes (such as baby-wearing, cloth diapering, mommie groups, baby sign language), and a special day just for pampering mom before she goes into labor. My personal thought is a lot more attention after the baby is born, so we provide complete breastfeeding assitance, as well as a good support system after your baby is born.

Our hope for you is that you have the kind of experience during your pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum period that launches you into parenthood with love and support, information and knowledge. After all, knowledge is power ladies!
