Baby Boy Takeshi

Mom Deanna gave birth to Baby Boy Takeshi at the hospital by emergency cesarean section after 29 hours of preterm labor at 24 weeks. Takeshi weighed 1 pound 3 ounces and will need support and help to make it through the next few weeks.

Baby Takeshi is doing well after his surgery and is expected to begin receiving his mother's milk by the end of the week! We are all very pleased with baby Takeshi's continued improvement and strong will!
Takeshi opened his eyes the other day and the first face he saw was his dear mother who rarely leaves his side. Deanna is exhausted and still healing from her cesarean, but steadfast in her determination to care for her baby.
